(hereinafter the Company), in accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, December 13 1999, for the Protection of Privacy and Personal Information (hereinafter LOPD) and Royal Decree 1720/2007, December 21 2007 (hereinafter RLOPD), indevelopment of said law, advises users of thewww.hospiten.comwebsite (hereinafter the Site) of the current legislation regarding the protection of personal information, the privacy of users and the secrecy and security of personal information.

Personal information submitted will be stored in the files, manuals or digital meansregistered with the Spanish Agency for the Protection of Data,in the name of the Company, and will be used for the appropriate administration of the contractual relationship. Equally, the cession of personal information provided by users to the Hospiten Group entities is authorized for the management of information and services requested.

HOSPITEN will take such technical and organizational measures as deemed necessary to guarantee the security of personal information stored and to avoid any alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access, taking into account the state of the technology involved, the nature of the data and the risks to which these might be exposed.

HOSPITEN hereby informs users of the website that their personal information may only be obtained and treated when appropriate, pertinent and not excessively with regards the context and determined, explicit and legitimate purpose for which it was obtained.

Furthermore, HOSPITEN makes available to users the e-mail address, for their refusal or opposition to the cession of information for the purposes regarding rights of information laid out at the foot of forms on the website, specifically in the sections “Send your C.V.”, “Contact” and “Subscribe to news”.

The user is fully responsible for the veracity of information ceded to HOSPITEN. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) on forms adapted for the website are obligatory, so failure to complete these fields, mean you will not be able to continue and submit the form. Browsing the website leaves a trace leading to the IP address assigned by your access provider – this data will only be used for statistical purposes for the website. The Company administers its servers aptly and has a strict firewall infrastructure in place. The Company uses continuously updated technology to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of information entrusted to us. Any change to our privacy policy and to the way data is administered will be duly made public, and HOSPITEN reserves the right to add, modify or delete said privacy policy as deemed necessary.

In accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, December 13, regarding the Protection of Personal Information, any information submitted to us by means of the Online Appointment Service for the administration of requests for appointments will be incorporated to the PATIENTS’ files, whose responsibility lies with the Company marked in the “Center” box on the form. Furthermore, information ceded by means of the ‘Work with Us’ service will be incorporated into the RECRUITMENT files for the purpose analyzing the user’s history and to adapt the request to our job offers and will be under the responsibility of the Entity marked by the user in the ‘Center’ box on the website, in the section “Our Hospitals”.

With the aim of adapting your profile to the different job offers at HOSPITEN, your details may be ceded to the different Entities forming the Group. HOSPITEN is a corporative group with Entities and offices in Spain and third countries to which any information from the present curriculum vitae may be sent for the purposes stated, to attend the occupational requirements of the Group’s Entities at a world level (you can see a list of companies at in the “Our Hospitals” section). Said transfer of data may be international in character where the countries concerned do not provide a standard of security equaling that established in the European Union. In the case you do not wish your details to be ceded for such purposes to the Group’s Entities, either national or international, you can express your opposition by clicking on the box provided for that purpose on the form. You can also express your opposition at any time by electronic mail at, or in writing to the address previously mentioned in the present clause for the exercise of your ARCO rights.
